Drill-Plus recently completed our first international coring project, marking an important milestone in the company’s continued growth and global service capabilities.
The project began when Drill-Plus was contacted by an operator in Chile regarding coring and core preservation services. From the beginning, the objective was clear: provide a reliable coring solution, protect the integrity of the recovered core, and support the operator with a high level of field execution.
Our team quickly mobilized the required equipment and personnel, coordinated the international dispatch, and successfully worked through the customs clearance process. Moving specialized coring equipment across borders requires planning, communication, and attention to detail, and our team was able to deliver the tools and support needed to begin operations without compromising the project timeline.
Once on location, Drill-Plus provided full coring support along with wellsite core handling and preservation services. The job was executed successfully, achieving 100% core recovery. Just as important, the recovered core was handled with care throughout the process, helping preserve sample quality from the rig site forward.
The operator provided excellent feedback on both the coring performance and the way the core was handled in the field. For Drill-Plus, that feedback reflects the standard we aim to bring to every project: dependable equipment, experienced personnel, and a strong focus on protecting the value of the core.
This project represents more than a successful job. It demonstrates Drill-Plus’ ability to support international operations, manage the logistics required for global projects, and provide the same level of service abroad that our customers expect from us at home.
